4 MONTHS OLD!!!!!!!!!!

Charlie turned 4 months old on August 17!
His 4 month check up was August 27th. Here are his new stats:

13 lbs. 12 oz. and 26 inches

On his four month "birthday", Kate and Nola were back for a visit! We all headed over to Nona and Poppy's for the day. That morning, when I was changing Charlie's diaper, he grabbed his feet for the first time and put them in his mouth! It was VERY cute!

He's doing so many new, fun things! He's rolling over from his back to his belly now with ease. (Although, it seems he has forgotten how to roll over to his back again, which he did for the first time back in June!) He can move around on his belly pretty well, too! But, I think the thing we have enjoyed the most is his babbling and laughing! He will talk and talk and respond to things we say or do with babbles, giggles, smiles, or coughs! (His coughs are often followed by smiles and/or giggles, so we rarely know if he is coughing because he needs to, or if he is doing it just because he knows he can!) It seems as though he is trying VERY hard to sit up. He often attempts to pull himself up on his own. We "prop" him up with his hands on the floor between his legs! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! We also just put his exersaucer together on wednesday and he's been in it at least once everyday since. He looks so funny sitting in it; like he's in his "office"! He is also learning very quickly how to get mommy and daddy's attention! He knows those laughs, babbles and coughs make us both respond in a positive way and fast!!!

Nola is such a great swimmer at only 9 months old! She can hold her breath under water and kick her feet! Very impressive and fun to watch!!
We miss you both already! Come and visit again very soon!!!
