Since our last post, Charlie is one month older! That's right! 7 months have flown by already. (He has a Drs. appt. tomorrow, so we'll update the new stats on another post.) He now has 2, that's right, 2 teeth!! We have had our first experiences with sleep deprivation due to teething! We can't really complain about that since he is 7 months old and has been a good sleeper until this point. He is crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING and he is already pulling himself up onto things! YIKES! I have a feeling he will be walking in no time!
He is loving solid foods! Even veggies! So far, he has liked everything he has tried; apples, pears, bananas, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, even peas!! Mama and daddy, however, are not as excited about the new, smellier poops solid foods produce! I much preferred his strictly breast milk poops myself!
He has discovered that he loooves to scream! The louder the better! It reminds me so much of when our Max (my cousin) was little! He used to scream to hear is echo! We have a very good example of it on our wedding video, during our ceremony :).
He is experimenting with many new sounds, too! Mamama, bababa, dadada, papapa, vavava! He responds to our rhyming exercises, filling in the sounds that I leave out. And he is also catching on to signing. He tries to mimic the signs for milk, sleep and eat. Milk is the best one, of course! He knows that one pretty well!
We are getting excited for his first Thanksgiving! It is already an emotional time for me. We have so much to be thankful for! Our family and extended family has been so blessed this year! We have welcomed 3 new, beautiful, healthy baby boys into our family! Charlie and his cousins Jack and Henry were all born between the months of April and July. And even though we don't get to see everyone nearly as often as we'd like, it has been such a joy hearing all about how they are growing and learning!
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!!
Charlie has started to nap sunny side up!

A cute shot of him playing in his office...

One of the first things he likes to do when he gets on the floor in the morning is to head on over to the entertainment center and pull down all of his books from the shelf. Then he'll sit up and flip through a few before he's on to his next adventure!

Charlie is a very good helper!
Here he is helpin' Nona with her laundry!

Playtime with Poppy!

A snuggle with aunt Krissy...

Uh oh!! Look out, Charlie! Aunt Krissy is trying to nibble your toes!

Rubbing his little gums on his cup! That makes them feel so much better!

Here Krissy! You try!
